- Whats wrong with using an 87 vintage A2000 for WEB surfing? Mine works
- just fine and it cost less to upgrade it than buying a new, less expandable &
- slower A1200. So the A1200 has the AGA chipset. Big deal, I don't play games
- or do video production work. Granted the 256 color NTSC Hi-Res would be nice
- but other than that my A2000 030/50Mhz outruns my friends A4000 030/25Mhz.
- You can give the A2000 a nice boost for $500 or less. Add $130 if you want WB
- 3.1. Still cheaper than starting over with an A1200 if you already have
- several SCSi drives ect.. on your A2000 and don't have the $$$ for an A4000T.
- The Walker machine looks promising for us non-millionaire types. AT needs a
- mid-level machine, the Walker looks like a step in the right direction.
- Although I think the case is kinda UGLY.
